Cultural Arts Centre and Creative Hub in Tripoli, Libya

Libya Design, together with Allabina and HudHud, has completed a creative hub in the city of Tripoli which is now a thriving cultural base bringing together local artists to exhibit their work, express their ideas and socialise in an informal environment.

Doshma, which means a heavily fortified type of armory, takes its inspiration from the 2011 revolution in Libya and the resulting cultural and social change, the centre attracts students and architects to its flexible and open space that can adapt easily to fulfil different functions.
